Meet Dr. Lashun Aron-Smith

Dr. Lashun Aron-Smith is a celebrated educator, administrator, and
presenter known for her exceptional leadership skills in K-12 and higher education. As the Founder and CEO of LAS Education Consulting LLC, she collaborates with K-12 and higher education institutions to create e-learning experiences that promote equity, student achievement, and leadership development. Dr. Aron-Smith has garnered significant recognition and respect in her field with decades of experience studying, researching, and serving as a leader in various capacities.

In 2019, Dr. Aron-Smith established LAS Education Consulting LLC an Indianapolis-based firm that specializes in assisting colleges and universities nationwide address the changing needs of today's student populations.

 

As CEO and Consultant, Dr. Aron-Smith partners with institutions to help close accreditation gaps, create and structure adult learning programs, develop online curriculum, and enhance enrollment management.

Before devoting her work full-time to LAS, Dr. Aron-Smith served in various roles in higher education as Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, Director of Adult Programs, Director of Academic Initiatives, Dean of Academic Affairs, and Director of Online Learning.

She holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Higher Education Administration, a Master’s in Management, and a Bachelor’s in Organizational Communication. When she is not consulting or presenting, Dr. Aron-Smith loves spending time with family and friends and cooking dynamic meals for all to enjoy.
